Timber Wolf Dens - Singum Girls

Timber Wolf Philosophy

Our Girl Timber Wolf Den within the Four Arrows Group Federation of North-American Explorers (FNE) has been named Singum, meaning Lion! The program activities offered to our girls will meet the needs of today's girls while providing our girls with unique and exciting program experiences.

As our all-female leadership team grows and develops, so will the program. We will cross-utilize program resources and related support equipment between the two Timber Wolf Dens.

Our girl Timber Wolves have much to look forward to in the form of:

  • Weekly meetings are held three times monthly with games, crafts, special guest speakers, storytelling, songs, and much more. First Friday evenings - Eucharistic Adoration at Blessed Trinity Parish.

  • A badge program to recognize progression, team, and faithfulness to God exercises.

  • Group Spirit building on the theme that the Strength of the Den is the Wolf and the strength of the Wolf is the Den.

  • Weekend get-away or camps as the leadership team continues to develop and grow.

  • First Friday of the month Eucharistic Adoration at Precious Blood Parish in Toronto

  • Development of girl leaders who hold specific responsibilities within the Den and to their other sister wolves.

  • A Fun program that contains the same program options as the boy program, at times delivered differently to meet the needs of the youth and their leaders.

  • A special sharp-looking uniform for our girls and their all-girl leadership team.

  • Program activities to help develop a closer sense of sisterhood while having lots of fun together.

Our program perspective regarding the faith is presented from a Catholic perspective, and we encourage our girls to practice their faith fully as taught at home.
